OWNER/DRIVER’S RESPONSIBILITY

FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE PROEDURES THAT FOLLOW MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

While operating the smooth and low vibration rotary engine the driver must be on the lookout for signs of malfunction. By responding correctly to the first indications of trouble with your rotary engine you can keep your warranty in force and avoid costly repairs.

1. OVERHEATING - Indicated by “Temp” or “Engine” light lighting , or Temperature Gauge reading above normal range.

2. OIL STARVATION

Oil pressure gauge indicating low pressure.

Engine over-heating , engine knocking and poor performance are other

warning signs.

A. STOP THE CAR IMMEDIATELY. Check the oil level in the crankcase and bring it up to full mark on dipstick.

B. If condition persists, seek help from your certified mechanic as soon as possible to determine cause (low oil level, oil leaks, oil Cooler, low oil pressure, etc.)

C. Do not continue to operate the vehicle until the oiling system is fully operational.

Conclusion:If you diligently change your oil and keep a clean cooling system you can increase the life of your REII RemanufacturedEngine. Conversely, your warranty will be void if the failure is caused by the OWNER/DRIVER RESPONSIBILITES as described within this booklet.

BREAK - IN PROCEDURES FOR YOUR NEW REII ENGINE

FIRST 500 MILES Drive normally, but not at continuous high RPM (6,000-7,000) for the first 500 miles.Avoid “lugging” the engine, towing a trailer (REPU), or overloading the vehicle.Check the Oil level and Coolant level frequently, and fill as needed. CAUTION: Follow car manufacturer’s procedures when performing these functions. NOTE* Newly rebuilt engines frequently consume excess oil for several hundred miles. This should not be cause for alarm unless the condition persists. Don’t be alarmed if fuel economy is disappointing at first. New engines often yield better mileage after break in, have the ignition and fuel systems checked and adjusted at 3000 miles
